Movement Limited rounds out their 2023 schedule with a new EP from label boss Tash. The Greek artist has enjoyed another successful year, carefully balancing his broad production palette via releases for Awen Records, If You Wait and Uxoa Dutxa Elite, while also continuing to travel the world as a DJ and in turn delighting crowds with his fresh track selection and exquisite programming skills. Movement Limited has also been a home for Tash this past year, with the summer release of 'Division Enosis', a three-track electronica showcase produced alongside fellow countryman Logothetis. Now, following a contribution to Movement's popular 'ProgNoesis' series, Tash returns to the label's Limited division in solo capacity with 'The Medicine'. Tash continues to find a perfect balance between trendsetting sounds with the lead selection 'The Medicine'. A DJ friendly intro sets a lively mood with rolling grooves, shuffling rhythms and a clever coax of offset stabs. Building energy with each successive pass, its vibrant percussion and spirited vocal fragments add colour to what is a mature club-effective arrangement, perfectly leading to a series of emotive chord changes and a short but intense break which only furthers its dancefloor appeal. The companion piece 'A Journey Through Sounds' showcases Tash's studio repertoire further with a deeper and equally engaging journey. Clocking in at nearly eight minutes in length, the Movement boss's creative prowess shines once again, as he crafts a quirky club cut that is rich with rhythm, groove and atmosphere. Bright metallic motifs and roboticized vocals sit at the core of the track, flowing through an emotive second movement, before giving way to a cavernous break and groove-centric drop that's sure to leave a lasting memory on the dancefloor.
