Hitting the heart of the summer season, Tash's Movement Recordings welcomes D.J. MacIntyre and Dimel De Silva to the label for their debut single. Hailing from the USA and Sri Lanka respectively, both D.J. MacIntyre and Dimel have achieved measurable success in their respective solo careers. The duo's combined discography is highlighted by releases via Clubsonica, The Soundgarden, Sound Avenue, and D.J's own SLC-6 Music imprint. Now, combining their extensive forces for the first time, D.J. MacIntyre and Dimel make their Movement Recordings debut with ‘Crimson Shadow', alongside a remix from Nomas.

Destined to be a highlight in the duo's discography, ‘Crimson Shadow' lands in impressive fashion and aims squarely at the dancefloor. Tough kick drums and electric rhythms serve as a foundation for trance-inducing arps and panoramic atmospheres to forge a path into the main break. Continuing on a darker monochrome, the interlude brings prophetic vibes as metallic melodies percolate and effects orbit onwards to a thumping finale.

The release concludes with Nomas making his label debut and providing the lone interpretation of ‘Crimson Shadow'. Niccoló Nicoli aka Nomas was born in Italy but now calls Germany home where he has been crafting his own unique brand of progressive techno. With a lean towards the astral spectrum of the genre, the Berlin resident has found a home on Eat My Hat Music, JOOF Recordings, SLC-6 Music and Steyoyoke. Now, adding Movement Recordings to his resume, Nomas debuts on the label with a thrilling take on ‘Crimson Shadow'. While maintaining the elusive spirit of the original, Nomas duo aim squarely at a peak hour dancefloor with a sweeping sonic experience all his own. An exhilarating journey where trance-inspired melodies, flowing grooves and driving percussive arrangements surface from their energetic architecture, while a heartfelt break perfectly preludes an emotive finale.
